🌎 Earth advocacy is advocacy for all 🌍

Please visit each of these sources and support or participate in as many that resonate with you.

💬 Feel free to suggest your own organizations, causes, and under-represented voices (or ones you want to promote) via the Contact Page so we can continue to learn & assist! Thank you! 💬

The artist is currently dedicating 1% of profits (and with your help, hopefully soon much more) to directly supporting the Xerces Society which is an organization dedicated to educating about and protecting our vital native pollinator species!

Pollinators:

           * Pollinator Research: The Great Sunflower Project is a citizen science project that you can either support or participate in! Help in the effort to document crucial pollinators!

          * Mason Bees: you yourself can make a huge difference by creating ecosystems for native mason bees. Visit Crown Bees and learn about another of our vital pollinator species!

Climate Change & Land Action:

            * Clean Oceans: The 4ocean company has already made huge efforts in the act of ocean clean-up. Every donation goes a long way in making clean oceans a tangible reality: 4ocean.com and follow them on social media

            * American Wild Horses and Burros: The American Wild Horse Campaign has been advocating for more humane population control than the BLM's (Bureau Of Land Management) current method of rounding up and slaughtering hundreds of wild horses and burros. Please read up on and promote their cause. While wild horses and burros are indeed invasive, they are also naturalized and have long been an integral part of some Indigenous  American spiritual practices and traditions.

             * Animal RightsPlease support organizations like the Bikers Against Animal Cruelty who actively work to rescue animals and persecute their abusers.

             * Petroglyphs: When you are hiking, research your local petroglyph sites before you go even if you don't think there are any near you - you might be surprised. Understand the proper etiquette; these sites are sacred to many indigenous peoples - all across the world in fact. Petroglyphs can be found on the Washington coast, the Southwest, even Idaho, not to mention all those globally.

Health:

           * OCD: OCD is actually a very different and more varied condition than most people assume. The artist has dealt with these symptoms for a lifetime and now takes any available opportunity to draw attention to atypical forms of OCD. Please donate and support OCD Awareness organizations that also share this vital, life-saving information like the International OCD Foundation.

Societal Rights:

           * Traveling/Homeless Youth: please visit the website for Rail Fox Co and follow them on Instagram @railfoxco - help donate supplies to traveling youths via a purchase of their Granny Care Package option (indicate that you would like to donate it to a person on their waiting list).

            * Missing/Murdered Indigenous Women: indigenous women face far higher rates of violence than any other woman. Partially because of their rural homes, community histories of addiction, and not least of all outsiders STILL literally invading their homes and bodies because they believe persecution isn't possible on sovereign land. Organizations like Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women USA are working hard to turn the tide. Please wear red every May 5th in the honor of our stolen sisters; but donations go further.

           * Abortion / Women's Body Autonomy: In the wake of the Supreme Court's ruling it is more important than ever to support Planned Parenthood, especially in states like Idaho where help is farther and fewer between. A ban on abortion would not prevent abortions, only safe and justified ones. What we need instead are improvements to the existing healthcare system and continued reproductive education. Please donate and advocate.

         * Tacoma At-Risk Youth: Alchemy Skatepark in Tacoma provides a safe environment for at-risk youth. Support them on AlchemySkateboarding.org and follow them on Instagram: @Alchemy_Skateboarding

         * Cannabis / Justice: while many of us get to enjoy the freedom of legal weed there are many who are still behind bars across the nation for the same, or other nonviolent "crimes." Please help The Last Prisoner Project set them free and end this hypocrisy: LastPrisonerProject.com

         * Cannabis: please support efforts in Washington state to legalize cannabis homegrow rights. Every other legal market allows the growth of up to six plants at home. This is one step of many toward a more inclusive, eco-friendly and safe cannabis industry for all: HomeGrow Washington.com

          * Honduras: follow @murphslife on Instagram and donate to provide tangible assistance to struggling individuals in Honduras. Due to the exchange rate even small donations go extremely far in providing much needed relief. The artist visited Honduras in 2011 as part of a work team, and can attest that it is through small, grassroots movements and efforts like this that go furthest in making a difference to individual lives.

             * Middle East/North Africa: the organization Education for Employment (or EFE) "offers skills and hope for a generation that needs both. They believe in the positive power of the millions of unemployed youth in the Middle East & North Africa. When youth have the right skills and opportunities, they help their families, communities, and companies succeed. Youth can transform the trajectory of the region if we give them the chance."
